Albert Alter has created characters for commercials, films, theater, and corporate events or campaigns. His specialty is either creating a unique character or adapting one of his many characters to a client's needs.

His many characters include: Clem, his European juggling and magic clown; Dr. Roger Raymond, a fire-eating door-to-door dentist; Maurice Mime, a classic white faced pantomime character; Gladys, THE BOSS' secretary (and boss);Martin Marvin, king of the nerds with pocket protector and slide rule; Grimaldi, a court fool for a king; O'Al a leprechaun with a heart of gold and a pocket full of magic, and more!

Touring Artist
Physical comedian Albert Alter has toured his unique, weird, physical and lovable characters through out the United States, Canada, Japan, and Cuba. Albert toured as a clown with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, opened for the Smothers Brothers, and has performed his unique and very physical characters with the Oregon Symphony, the Washington-Idaho Symphony, and for numerous corporate special events.

Albert also conducts "Playshops", a Humor in the Workplace seminar showing employees how to take their work seriously but themselves lightly. And "It is Like a Circus around Here!...You Wish It Was!" using the day to day operation of a circus as a model for improving your companies diversity, team work, on time delivery of product, customer relationships, changes in the market place, crisis planning, and keeping the employees happy. Participants learn circus skills such as juggling, object balancing, magic, and wire-walking as metaphors for how to view their work and problems at work.
